Creating Privacy pages

We use some code to generate privacy policies. Here’s the instructions:

Naming the pages

  1. Create 4 pages, each with the parent of ‘about’
  2. These pages MUST have permalinks that match exactly these:
    1. /about/privacy
    2. /about/cookies
    3. /about/disclaimer
    4. /about/contact
  3. Publish them and hide:
    1. Page title
    2. Featured image

Creating the policy

For the privacy/cookies/disclaimer, use this shortcode:

[obl_policy type="XXX"]

The ‘XXX’ determines which policy will be generated. Choose from:

  • privacy
  • cookies
  • disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Use lower case only.

Press ‘publish’ and the page should be populated with the relevant policy.
